Choros

Multi-media sound installation, drawing

2012

Toronto, ON

A multimedia sound installation that explores how urban sound can inform collective memory in the city. The city is simultaneously a built landscape and a theatre of sound which informs sense of place and identity. The word Chôros is a Greek word meaning “a space that has a definite border.” Chôros explores intangible boundaries and edges that make up city spaces in the built environment.
